Everyday Fine Jewelry: Why Quality Matters in the Pieces You Actually Wear
Most of us have a few pieces we reach for every single day — the necklace that feels like part of you, the ring that finishes your look without trying. Those are the pieces that matter most — and they deserve to be made well.
At Parkford, I design jewelry meant to live with you. Because the pieces you wear every day should be the ones that hold up — in quality, in design, and in meaning.
Why Materials Matter
There’s a reason solid 14K gold feels different. It holds its color, it doesn’t tarnish, and it lasts for decades.
It’s an investment — but one that rewards you every time you put it on.
That said, I also believe quality shouldn’t be all-or-nothing. Not everyone is ready to build a full gold collection right away — and that’s where vermeil comes in.
Our vermeil pieces are made entirely from precious metals: a solid sterling silver base coated with a thick layer of 14K gold. It’s not costume jewelry — there’s no mystery metal underneath, and the plating is far more durable than standard gold-plated fashion pieces. It gives you the same refined look and feel, at a more approachable price.
Silver, Simplified
Sterling silver deserves its own spotlight too. It’s timeless, versatile, and ideal for bold, sculptural designs that balance polish with presence.
Our silver is rhodium-plated for tarnish resistance and lasting brightness — the same finishing technique used in fine jewelry houses.
Our silver and vermeil pieces are crafted with the same attention to structure, proportion, and finish as our fine gold line. Different materials — same intention.
Everyday, Not Occasional
Fine jewelry shouldn’t sit in a box waiting for a “special” day. It should be what you reach for without thinking — the subtle layer of confidence that carries you through the everyday.
Whether you’re investing in 14K gold or choosing vermeil or silver, the goal is the same: to own pieces that feel good, last well, and reflect your refined confidence.
The Parkford Approach
To me, “fine” isn’t just about karat weight — it’s about craftsmanship and integrity in every material we use.
That’s why each piece is designed with balanced proportions, solid construction, and a quiet sense of strength that lasts.
Everyday fine jewelry, made to live beautifully — whatever form it takes.
